An introduction to the semantics frontiers group

We are a group of enthusiasts about natural languages. Our goal is to investigate natural language semantic and pragmatic models for intelligent information access. Although we consider a fairly wide range of topics, our main focus is on cutting edge research which has the potential to open new topics or areas of investigation in computational linguistics / natural language processing - thus, the name "frontiers".

Group Mission:

Explorations of the group:

  • (multilingual) semantic spaces of lexical and relational semantics
  • discourse processing / computational explanation (causal) models
  • semantic and pragmatic inference systems
  • computational cognitive modeling / social computing
  • other divergent areas related to computational semantics
